Help for Migraine Sufferers

Migraine is the 3rd most prevalent illness in the world; 12% of the population – including children – suffers from migraine. Migraine is most common in women between the ages of 18 and 44 years. A popular prescription medication used to treat migraine was discontinued by the manufacturer several years ago when one of the ingredients was unavailable.  However, the ingredients are now available and all have monographs in the United States Pharmacopeia and National Formulary (USP-NF). Therefore, compounding pharmacies are permitted to compound using these ingredients. If your migraine headaches do not respond to commercially manufactured drugs, our professional pharmacist can work with you and your doctor to customize a medication to meet your specific needs.
