Diabetic Neuropathy

Diabetic neuropathy is a serious complication of diabetes that may affect as many as 50% of people with diabetes. High blood sugar can injure the nerves throughout the body resulting in pain or numbness in the legs and feet, to issues with the digestive system, urinary tract, and circulatory system. While symptoms may be mild for some people, diabetic neuropathy can be debilitating to others. You may be able to prevent diabetic neuropathy or slow its progress with consistent blood sugar management and a healthy lifestyle. If you do experience pain, talk to our pharmacist about the benefits of topical compounded medications.
